Published since 1992 by Media & Editorial Projects Ltd (MEP), Caribbean Beat is the Caribbean's leading magazine on Caribbean and West Indian arts, culture and society, and the inflight magazine of Caribbean Airlines. Beat is a magazine about the real
Caribbean – a general-interest, pan-Caribbean
publication, produced in the West Indies, by Caribbean people. It gets behind
the familiar stereotypes to show how rich Caribbean life
really is – its music, art, dance, books, sport, fashion, design, festivals,
history, environment, people, lifestyle. This is the region's most widely-distributed magazine, committed to the highest
editorial and production standards. read the current issue »

Caribbean Beat Archive
Caribbean Beat was launched in January 1992 as the inflight
magazine of BWIA (British West Indian Airways), the Trinidad-based
airline founded in November 1940. The magazine partnered with BWIA for
15 years and 82 issues.
On 31 December, 2006, BWIA was wound up and replaced by Caribbean Airlines. Caribbean Beat is now the inflight magazine of the new airline, and continues to publish every two months as before.
On this website, issues of Caribbean Beat produced in partnership with Caribbean Airlines – from January 2007 onwards – can be accessed via the Current Issue and Archive: 2007-present tabs. Material from earlier editions of the magazine – with BWIA up to December 2006 – can be accessed through the Archive: 1992-2006 tab.
The
Archive currently extend back to issue #60 (March/April 2003) and
issues #1-18 (1992-1997). We are slowly adding to the Archive,
beginning with article text, followed by photos and graphics. If you
require material from a back issue urgently, please contact us with your request.
